The design of Aurelia was chiefly based on the different forms of a traditional typeface, Jenson, which was designed by Nicolas Jenson in the year 1470. Hermann Zapf designed Aurelia in the year 1963. Hermann Zapf successfully blended his uniqueness and various needs of modern technology. The characters of the font are attributed as classical and vigorous. It is suitable to use as headlines and also for text. Aurelia belongs to the Linotype font family and has a wide usage. The most common of this font is Aurelia™.
