California Sans font

In 1983 Alta California font was designed by Steve Mehallo. The idea of letter forms of this font is influenced by type specimen books & old newspapers. It is designed to be reminiscent of overriding business signage on a typical turn of century Main Street. It is inspired by other computer generated ransom note ftype faces. He gave eclectic font a weathered alphabet, minutely distorted punctuation & a few old-time pointing hands. It is best choice for any display purposes like headlines, garage sale signs & logotypes.
