Colmcille font
Colmcille font was designed by Gaelic scholar, typographer & printer Colm Ó Lochlainn. It was first released by Monotype for composition casting in 1936. The designer intention was to provide a Gaelic looking type face which worked well in roman type face. The digital version of this font has been made in collaboration with his son Dara O Lochlainn. Number of changes has been made in this digitizing point. In new design a new set of figures are added. If it is a text face it also suitable for any advertisements, flyers etc in fact where a touch of Gaelic charm is needed.
