Egyptian font is a part of the 'Shinn Type' font family. It is available in 8 styles. Nicolaas Tetterode first design this font in 1820. The perfect mono line Egyptian, Weiss' Memphis of 1928 was devotedly manufacturing in its effect & put the tone for those which followed up to Lubalin Graph. The font is Humanist. The font is composite, asymmetric curled strokes in the lower case letters. It is the unique among monocline slab serif types. It has an easy, neo classical form & proportion and firm detailing that is traditional not machine age.
