Hawthorn font

In the year of 1968 type designer Mike Daines designed Hawthorn font. It is a serif typeface designed for any display usage. It has a definitely late 60s sense to it. Round & sharp, Hawthorn's liveliness feels at house with the pop art of its period. Its most exclusive feature is maybe its serifs which appear sharp & pointy. Like other display faces proposed for use is advertising headlines. It is slightly condensed & has tall x-heights.
