ITC Elan font
ITC Elan is the most common form of this font. It is a combination of a gothic simplicity with typical elegance however subtle typeface design. It has a mood of architectural power which is resulting mainly from an optically even line weight & a logic of vertical stress. The small, serifs, approximately Latin add difference at both display & text sizes. The great x-height, least stroke variance or open counters are perfect design traits for typeface legibility. Additional characters which make a distinction it are the splayed 'M' and also bowls are not quite close in the 'a'; 'b' and several other letters. In contrast with Roman & calligraphic playfulness of the italic makes it different from other font.
