Linotype Aperto font
Paul Veres designed the Aperto typeface in the year 1995. This was the first typeface created by him. Aperto has been derived from the humanist hands and Italian chancery cursive in the 16th century. The characters were formed with the motive to create letter forms which would be easy to write and understand and also fantastic. Aperto is greatly influenced by some classically stimulated types of Herman Zapf and Frederic Goudy. The font is round in character and pleasant to read. Aperto font (Uppercase) is suitable for display and headlines though it was designed for simple text. The most common of this font is Aperto™.
