The name of the font is given so because it exploits a typographic design mechanism known as ink traps purely for graphic effect. For The font ink traps is overused for exaggerated visual effect. The gives a playful character to the letters with a twisted balloon look. The is a very versatile font. Trapper is a hallmark of Typeco.
