Yakout font
The Yakout font has been designed by Nahib Jaroudi in the year 1956. The font is exclusively created for Arabic. Like most of its contemporaries The font too uses a limited range of letters to in representing an entire Arabic set. Thus it forms a style which can be named Simplified Arabic. As demanded to keep the original restrictive technology the shaping of the letterforms demanded a skill. Due to The feature a dynamic effect has been produced by Yakout. It is well applied in the newspaper setting. The font is a hallmark of Linotype and is registered under certain jurisdiction.
